Mobilia was established by Hans Kau in 1966, who started the first store in Montreal in Westmount (Front of original store in Montreal, 1966). A family business in Quebec and Ontario, Mobilia was operated by Melanie Kau, the founder's daughter, from 1988 until November 2011. Johannes Kau III started his tenure as Chairman of MOBILIA in 2014 after the sudden loss of his sister, Melanie Kau, in 2011. We have grown to eight stores, with Merchandise on the website and shipping from British Columbia to New Brunswick.
